How do I prevent a horizontal rule from getting made part of the list item above it? Example:

- list item
  - list item followed by blank lines

It's an ugly bug indeed. I put an empty p-tag after the list to reset indentation. (I don't know who found out it helped, but it's common on the wiki.) -- PEZ

Is there a way to span along rows or columns in wiki?

No, I don't think there is. There are some patches for more fancy tables on the UseModWiki site, but I don't dare apply them since I have edited my wiki script quite heavily myself. And, please try not to use raw html tags on the pages. They will stop working when/if I switch them off in my wiki settings. -- PEZ

It looks like that is a HTML question? Anyway, I don't think there is a way to do what you ask for. Maybe with CSS, but that's not an option on wiki pages... -- PEZ
